2am Thoughts
Hi.
It’s been awhile.
The past few years have been a psychotic roller coaster ride of life changes.
Moved across the country, lost my Thing 3, lost my lil cousin, struggled to get Thing 4 properly diagnosed, moved back across the country, assumed care of my then father in law (PopPop), jumped right in to helping my Mom with caring for my Dad who had Alzheimer’s, got an unexpected divorce, had to move into a much smaller house, started working in management at a local medical practice, met the “man friend”-boyfriend just sounds weird at this age so let’s just make it weirder and call him the “man friend”…my Dad’s health declined sharply and so I started working nights at another medical facility to be able to help out more…then my Dad passed in October of last year…no regrets…I would do it again…it was hard, it was exhausting for all of us helping but I am thankful we were able to care for him at home right up to the end…oh and in the midst of all that we moved again…then I rested-for just a moment because life came life’n all over again and my Mom is dealing with some health problems (that’s all we shall say about that because she’s a private person-& to any family reading this, there’s no need to discuss this statement or post with her) and then recently PopPop started dialysis here at home-he’s doing well and we are all adjusting to this new phase of life…but overall life is good.
I miss doing farmer’s markets and pop ups around town…I miss cooking and my little shop. If I’m going to do something-I’m going to do it right but right now-I am tired and my body is telling me to slow down and rest for a moment & maybe take care of myself for once-you know, all that good stuff. So all that being said-I’ll pop up when I can and do occasional weekend deliveries…
Life be life’n hard but it’s time to start doing things again…I’m trying to learn how to navigate this website…and to just type and not care who is reading this…it’s frustrating as I am figuring things out myself…but I am trying…there’s typos and and tons of errors-but at least I am trying…so stick around and lets see how it goes… See ya again soon…
